About us

We are Stefano and Natalia Terranova. While we restored Fornello di Sopra as our family holiday home and future residence, we will be sharing our Tuscany luxury villa with friends and discerning travellers.  

Set within its own olive grove and surrounded by pristine Sangiovese vineyards known for the famous Brunello di Montalcino, the house is set in one of the best locations in Montalcino, with stunning views of the Val d'Orcia valley (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and within walking distance of the village. 

Fornello di Sopra is a restored "casa torre", a farmhouse built around an old disused tower. In the Leopoldine cadastre it was shown as Fornello simply. We bought the house and olive grove in 2014. The villa was lovingly restored in 2016 to high standards while maintaining the original shapes and features. The restoration works were directed by a renowned local architect with the help of local artisans.
